Looking after your bed
Now you've bought your bed its time to look after it.
Here are a few ideas to help you look after your bed.
1: When you buy your bed buy a decent mattress and pillow protector. and if its for a young child, maybe their first bed, invest in a waterproof mattress protector 2: Unless you have bought a no turn mattress, turn it over once a month at least and rotate it fortnightly
3: Dust mite. When you get out of bed in the morning, don't make your bed, leave it with the clothes folded down. This little critter breeds a lot faster in warm damp conditions, so leaving the covers open helps prevent build up of moisture. It also help freshen everything up.
4: Regularly vacuum the mattress. This prevents mite build up. The mites feed on your dead skin, and vacuuming helps remove their food.
5: In older times goods were built to last, which was a good thing, but nowadays we have found that dust and mite build up is not a healthy thing , so we reccommend you change your bed after a maximum of 8 years due to infest build up. We shed over a pound of skin in a year and thats a lot of food for those little mites.
A cleaner bed leads to a healthier life and a much better sleep.
