Recliners are available in many sizes and are designed to provide long periods of comfort and support and some assistance in getting up again.
With a wonderful choice in both Dual Motor and Single Motor designs and a tremendous range of sizes, there should be a Care Recliner to suit everyone. Riser recliners can accomodate body weights up to 20 stone. The Francesca dual riser-recliner with a seat width choice of 23" to 44", can accomodate a weight limit of 40 stone. At the touch of a button you can ease yourself slowly into any reclined position. The riser-recliner can be returned to the upright position and slowly lift you up and tilt you forward until a standing position is made easy. You have the power to stop and start at any point you wish. Control is smooth, safe and simple.
These Recliners are ideal for sufferers of arthritis, rheumatism, M.S., poor circulation and many other mobility restrictions.
Royams have developed a wide range of specialised upholstered seating for those with mobility problems. Already widely used in hospitals and nursing homes, this collection offers many benefits from assistance in sitting and rising to possibly improving circulation and muscle tone. Recliners are vailable in three options :- Manual, Handle and Power operated.

Any Chair with moving parts such as Recliners, Riser Recliners and adjustable back chairs should be used with caution. Children and animals should be kept away from moving parts in the mechanism. • Always warn visitors with children about the dangers of them playing on or around the chair. • Electrical supply to motorised models should be inspected frequently to ensure that cables are not trapped or frayed or kept in tension. • Always remove the electrical plug when not in use. • In the event of motors not functioning, do not attempt to open the motor. • Do not sit on footrests or backs of chairs.
