Terms and Conditions

This agreement is a contract for goods and services between us the supplier and you the consumer. This contract is concluded when you become bound to buy the goods and we become bound to supply them and both of these acts will have occurred when we have confirmed your order and accepted it by email.

Furnishings4you offer exclusive leather, fabric, traditional and contemporary sofas and chairs, made to your specifications and the highest quality. This same high standard is also shown in the lounge, dining room and bedroom furniture and beds.

At Furnishings4you we provide you with as much information about your agreement as possible and what you can expect from the services we offer.

When you agree to purchase from us we will tell you:

  • What you have agreed to purchase. (These items are listed separately on your sales agreement)
  • The purchase price
  • How you paid
  • Approximately when your furniture is expected to be available for delivery

Your order

You should ensure that the items you have detailed on the order screen are correct and that they meet your exact requirements as once we have accepted your order and confirmed it by email it may not be possible to amend your order.

Tracking your order
 You can keep track of your order using your unique account number and following simple on screen instructions.

We always strive to deliver within our delivery quotations and if we can get your furniture early we will. We may also contact you by way of a personal phone call from our Delivery Booking Team.

Payment Arrangements

The items on this order will not be delivered unless the balance is paid. Payment can be made on line by Credit or Debit Card. Or by alternative methods by prior arrangement.

Finance options are available for orders placed over the internet through Way2pay.

Delivery arrangements

The Furnishings4you Macclesfield local delivery service consists of two highly trained employees arriving at your home in one of our own Sign written Vans. We operate a doorstep delivery service as we are not insured inside your house. We will take the furniture to a room of your choice at your risk, to complete the installation of your furniture. We are not responsible for any damages that may happen whilst inside your home.. You may be asked to sign a disclaimer before installation.

Delivery outside the area is by carrier and subject to their own delivery conditions.

Our rights

We reserve the right to:

 Modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this Website (or part thereof) with or without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the Website.

And or change the conditions from time to time, and your continued use of the Website (or any part thereof) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any change to the conditions then you must immediately stop using the Website.

Third party links

To provide increased value to our Users, we may provide links to other websites or resources for you to access at your sole discretion. You acknowledge and agree that, as you have chosen to enter the linked website we are not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources, and do not review or endorse and are not responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for (i) the privacy practices of such websites, (ii) the content of such websites, including (without limitation) any advertising, content, products, goods or other materials or services on or available from such websites or resources or (iii) the use to which others make of these websites or resources, nor for any damage, loss or offence caused or alleged to be caused by, or in connection with, the use of or reliance on any such advertising, content, products, goods or other materials or services available on such external websites or resources.

We will treat all your Personal Information as confidential (although we reserve the right to disclose this information in the circumstances set out below). We will keep it on a secure server and we will fully comply with all applicable UK Data Protection and consumer legislation from time to time in place.
When you shop on this Website, we will ask you to input and will collect Personal Information from you such as your name, e-mail address, billing address, delivery address, telephone number, product selections, credit card or other payment information and a password. We may also collect, and our third party providers of advertisements and content may collect, information about where you are on the internet (eg the URL you came from, IP address, domain types like .co.uk and .com), your browser type, the country and telephone area code where your computer is located, the pages of our website that were viewed during your visit, the advertisements you clicked on, and any search terms that you entered on our website ("User Information"). We may collect this information even if you do not register with us.
You should be aware that this site is being monitored and may capture information about your visit that will help us improve the quality of our service.
We confirm that any Personal Information which you provide to us (or which is available on public registers) and any User Information from which we can identify you, is held in accordance with the registration we have with the Data Commissioner's Office. We use your information only for the following purposes:
 Processing your orders; for statistical or survey purposes to improve this Website and its services to you;
To serve website content and advertisements to you;
To administer this website;
If you consent, to notify you of products or special offers that may be of interest to you.
You agree that you do not object to us contacting you for any of the above purposes whether by telephone, e-mail or in writing and you confirm that you do not and will not consider any of the above as being a breach of any of your rights under the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003.
Your Personal Information may be disclosed to reputable third parties who will help process your order. Furnishings4you requires all such third parties to treat your personal information as fully confidential and to fully comply with all applicable UK Data Protection and consumer legislation from time to time in place. We will not release your Personal Information to any company outside of Furnishings4you for mailing or marketing purposes.
You should be aware that if we are requested by the police or any other regulatory or government authority investigating suspected illegal activities to provide your Personal Information and /or User Information, we are entitled do so.

Contract cancellation under the Distance Selling Regulations

Please note that you are entitled to cancel this contract if you so wish provided that you exercise your right and notify us no longer than 7 working days after the day on which you receive the Products.
If you wish to exercise your right to cancel this contract after your order has already been despatched, we will refund the original purchase price and delivery charge, provided that you have notified us in writing no longer 7 working days after the day on which you receive the Products, that you have a statutory duty to take care of them and ensure the Products are unused. Please follow the procedure set out in our Returns procedure.
We understand that occasionally a customer may feel they have chosen incorrectly, in such cases we will provide a reselection for a fee of £150.00 to cover transport and ordering costs. If an error is made on our behalf we will of course meet the cost of these ourselves.

If you cancel your order after delivery has been made a small charge of £75.00 is made for the collection and safe return of each item.

Please note that your right to return Products does NOT apply to Products which fall into the following categories unless they are faulty or not as described:

§Made to measure or personalised goods

§Any Mattress, once it has been opened

If you ever need to call Furnishings4you you can rest assured that you can speak to a real person as we do not use call centres.

Customer Satisfaction is a very important to us all here. To monitor and improve the quality of our service some calls may be recorded.

Cancelling your agreement

If the unlikely event arises that we cannot supply your furniture you may cancel your agreement without charge.

For goods available for delivery within 4 weeks:

You may email Furnishings4you at any time up to and including 7 working days following their delivery and request to cancel your order when CSL will arrange a collection and refund of your goods.

If you decide to return the goods or cancel your order within this time you have a statutory duty to take care of them and ensure they are unused.

If you cancel your order after delivery has been made a small charge of £75.00 is made for the collection and safe return of each item.

For goods available for delivery after 4 weeks:

These goods are made to order and you have no statutory right to return them unless they have a defect.

If we agree to cancel your contract and your goods are available for delivery after four weeks from the time we confirmed your order by email, you agree to pay a standard fee which is a percentage of the total order value.

Complaints

In the unlikely event that you have a complaint our Customer Care department is ready to help. We will provide instant solutions over the telephone, reply to emails within just a few hours or letters within just a few days. Our aim is to resolve all your concerns quickly and efficiently and where possible to your complete satisfaction.
